Our sustainable technologies upcycle waste to reduce plastic's carbon footprint, reduce microplastic pollution, and improve soil health.
Our goals are to decrease the use and environmental impact of plastic and address the damage it’s caused
To meet our goals, we must find cost-effective and practical solutions alternatives to traditional oil-based plastic. While bio-based and compostable products have limits, our technology can improve them and offer genuine alternatives to traditional plastic.
At Planet, we develop bio-based, compostable, and recyclable technologies that are also more affordable than conventional materials.
We upcycle various forms of bio-waste to produce carbon negative plastic substitutes and soil supplements. We have also developed additives that convert plastic waste into material that micro-organisms can consume, reducing the presence of micro-plastics in the environment.
We realise that 'alternative' materials must be affordable and perform as well as those they replace; otherwise, adoption will remain limited. Because most consumers tolerate only a small 'sustainability premium,' we focus on making our additives reduce the overall cost of the end material.
Our Technology
C-Shell
Our bio-based and compostable additive is primarily made from upcycled eggshell and oyster shell.
It reduces the use of oil-based plastic, reduces cost and improves processability.

Bio-Cycle
Our bio-assimilation additive uses a free radical process to turn plastic waste in the form of litter or landfill into consumable material for micro-organisms allowing the carbon to bio-assimilate back into the natural environment without leaving behind toxins or microplastics.

Biochar
Our biochar derived from poultry litter is high in nutrients and locks away carbon for hundreds of years.
